The Hollingsworth Foundation’s mission is to provide support to those who need it the most, especially during challenging times. Hollingsworth is committed to investing and engaging in the communities where we live and work to serve the greater good. Key activities including scholarships, donations, and civic sponsorships demonstrate our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live.

The Hollingsworth Foundation accepts donations from employees and non-employees. You can make a difference with your donation via PayPal. All gifts are matched by Hollingsworth.

Hollingsworth is committed to investing and engaging in the communities where we live and work in order to serve the greater good. Through the Hollingsworth Foundation, we’re giving back, through our volunteer events, philanthropy through scholarships, donations and civic sponsorships.
Employee Volunteering
- We have a corporate target for employee volunteer hours and allow up to two days of paid time annually for all employees (including hourly) to volunteer.
- Each site has identified local partners for regular volunteer work and giving including adopt-a-school, backpack meal programs, homeless shelters and food banks.
- In 2023, we proudly recorded 13,000 volunteer hours.
Corporate Sponsorships
The Foundation has a proud partnership with The Detroit Children’s Center, Pope Francis Center, Loyola High School, Dollars for Scholars, and Gleaners Food Bank.
Mike Apap Scholarship Fund
- $1,500 scholarship checks per semester
- $37,500 scholarships awarded in 2023
- Scholarships are available to employees, dependents, temporary employees and individuals in the local communities where we are located
